Good for her. I'm glad when more women are speaking up about this issue and that's what it takes to put a stop to the travesty.
yawn.

I have not followed this closely. I am aware of the swimmer she mentions. But she says:
"Increasingly, trans athletes are dominating women’s sports at all levels."
Is this really the case? What percentage of women's sports are now made up by trans athletes?
Who?

Just last week, a Vermont HS basketball team with a trans player made all the way to the 2nd round of the state play-off. That's after their 1st round opponent forfeited the game.

Former star prep runner from Colorado. Weird someone resuscitated the old Ryan Deak thread the same day this was posted. Most be some Smoky fans lurking.
She was a stud twenty plus years ago.
Oof, check out her Twitter. I don't disagree with her on the trans sports stuff, but she seems pretty unhinged.

2x HS national champ in the 2-mile, 1x champ in the mile, 3x Footlocker finalist. Had a decent college career but not as dominant as HS. She was on the DMR team that won NCAAs with Bri Felnagel.

Agree with her except:
“Increasingly, trans athletes are dominating women’s sports at all levels.”
This simply isn’t true. Very few trans athletes are competing, much less ‘dominating’ in sports. One can make the case trans women should not compete against cis women without lying.

More than before and more every year, as trans ideology has wormed into science, medicine, education, everything. She might have phrased it better, and you’re absolutely right that it’s not super widespread yet, but it’s a worthy effort to stop this before it does actually get to that level. Others on here and elsewhere argue that because it’s only a few cases so far, we shouldn’t do anything about it. (I could predict in advance which particular LRC poster will be along shortly to make that exact argument, in fact). I’d argue we need to decide finally whether ANY trans women are okay in women’s sports and either say no more, or open the floodgates. Good on another elite for speaking up.

Aye, not really. She just isn’t the progressive liberal that a CO native & UNC grad are supposed to be. Good for her. We have enough of those already.

Notice a trend? But sure maybe this is their one view that isn't unhinged...
