It's too bad they don't mention the coach's name in the video. I hope it works out for her, it was great to see her get the European 5000 championship and the Valencia half marathon win after having a rough time at Worlds after getting COVID-19 last year.
Definitely a smart choice. It doesn't seem like PJ knows what he's doing
PJ didn't know what he was doing when she broke the German Indoor 1500 record, the German Mile indoor record, the German 3000 indoor record, the German 5000 indoor record, the German Outdoor Mile record, the German 3000 outdoor record, the German 5000 outdoor record, the German 10000 Outdoor record, the Bronze Medal at the Outdoor World Championships, the Gold medal at this summer's European Outdoor Championships, the Silver medal at this year's European Cross Country Championships, the win at Valencia Half Marathon in a debut of 1:05. Damn, I need to find a coach that doesn't know what he's doing.
terrible interview from Citius, where was the follow up questions to get any details? the video description gave more details than the actual interview

Citius is awful. They're like little kids who are just thrilled to get access to their heroes. I'm not saying running journalism can't be positive, but what they do isn't really journalism. They're basically press agents for the pros.

I think she will tell us earliest after european indoor championships next week or latest when contract with Nike was finally running out.

That's all true and should be appreciated.
But she was also out with injury several times from summer 2020 until early 2022, far more often than before in 4 years of high level (~top 3 under 20 European since 2015) running before joining NOP. And she ran 3:59/8:29 at 20 yo with a young no name German coach who never got another runner even to a national title, AFAIK.
But I also suspect that this has less to with Julian and more with contract negotiation and geographical relocation.
Since pretty much all her PRs were set when she was with NOP, I really suspect her of gray zone doping. Hasay and Koko, who are both too young to experience age-related decline have declined the most since NOP folded. Hasay might not even be a professional runner any more.

An amateur group of track rats that gave their little favorites we all get tired of hearing about
