Tuohy got the baton in 6th place, and kicked to a 4:23 PR to anchor NC State to third place.
Splits:
1200m - 3:24
400m - 58
800 - 2:06
1600 - 4:23
Time: 10:52
Great effort. Now she knows, running DMR at Nationals is not not not an option.

her 1600m pace was faster than the 1200m pace
hopefully henes came to her senses..katelyn doing dmr at nationals is a NO
that track havent produced a single FAST time today except for her 4:23
Tuohy is running more consistent than pros except Monson. 4.24 4.24 4.23 on any kind of track, banked or flat. Nothing affects her consistency, its crazy.
No one said she was running dmr at nationals.

That proves that the track is not doing all the work. Some credit goes to the athletes.

Great effort indeed! PR meaning it’s her best-ever DMR anchor?

If shayw could drop 2 seconds and they gat Chapman back they gain 5 seconds....can they count on that?

possibly her best converted mile time too
This was faster than what St. Pierre ran as a pro when a pro team set the dmr wr. Crazy.

How is it crazy? It is commensurate with her other recent races. Nothing crazy about it.
Crazy as in crazy impressive.
can you record the race!!??

this would convert to 4:24 high so it'd be a little slower

Tuohy sacrificed an individual gold medal just for her teammates to run those ugly splits??? I feel bad for Tuohy, it did not even look like they were trying to help her.
upload the whole thing on youtube, ill edit it

OK but no more impressive than her other recent races.
Shaw kept them in it and Bush ran the 3rd fastest 800m leg. They ran well. The 400m leg was a last minute sub apparently. Saying they were awful is harsh
