Fisher runs 7:35 in Lieven.
Went with the pace but couldn't swim with the big fishes apparently.
Barely inside the collegiate record.

I respect the hell out of him traveling to where the big dogs are and giving it a shot. He's obviously feeling like he's in amazing shape and I'm looking forward to seeing how his year goes.

Let's not act like he wouldn't have wiped the floor at millrose. Glade he went for something crazy
Obligatory "didn't get enough burritos" comment.
This isn't unexpected, as entering a world record without a rust buster can backfire. Anyone know if he has any other races planned soon?

Apparently this brings you some pleasure in some weird way. Why gloat about it? Don't be a dick.

Don't think so. The two mega doping Africans times don't count. Fisher clearly far better
I posted this on the meet thread: Fisher was noticeably limping as he walked away from the finish area. Grabbed onto handrail too. You could see him in the background when they showed Girma still sitting on the track right after the race. Looks like he strained something.
Only on Letsrun is a 7:35 3000 for a season opener seen as a disappointment. Good grief.

Josh Kerr won the 3000 in 7:33 at millrose. I believe that’s faster than 7:35

Care to present any proof other than the continent the athletes are from?
