Not even kidding. Is this an isolated incident or widespread across the country? They aren't even looking for work anymore. Is this because of COVID or something?
Your subject line makes it look they got jobs playing video games. Then you say they aren’t looking for jobs. Because they have jobs playing video games?
The job market is a whole lot better than it was during the worst of the Great Recession, but around 7 million American men between the ages of 25 and 54 – mostly too old to be in school and too yo…
Working is modern day slavery. You slave away for 40+ hours a week and the majority of people are still dead broke at the end of the week. That is slavery.
They're fighting the good fight. What happens if they move back? The poor realty conglomerate that owns half the town doesn't get their rent? The poor utility company doesn't get to open another contract? The poor insurance company loses a sale because your friend isn't in a unit forcing him to get renter's insurance? Your poor friend is stuck living with the two people who love him the most in the entire world while saving money and helping his aging parents with household chores.

Lmao
We have it so damn easy in this country. Nothing we are doing is even remotely close to slavery.

Yeah, why do that when you can do something inspiring and useful with your life like playing video games.
Around seven million men in their prime working age neither have jobs nor are looking for one, creating a huge hole in the labor market and costing businesse...
You might want to consider that no one really wants to move back in with their parents, etc. It's an act of capitulation. They are probably depressed, demotivated, and discouraged. How about be a friend, and reach out?
The lousy thing is that the way you speak about your so-called friends on this anon message board suggests that your m.o. is to judge them in order to feel superior to them, rather than to support them. Hope that's not the case.
