So we should be expecting a 3000m by Touhy in the 8:30s tomorrow if she's top of the class?
If her pacing is right I would not be shocked 8:38-8:40.....the challenge is going to be unlike this race at BU there woon't be a pacer for anybody but the top 2-3 at Millrose so the rest are on their own.
Maybe Valby isn't worth the hype! Is XC her strength?
Anyone can have a bad day of course.
I'm not on Team Valby so I don't know her PRs, but if she's a fast but not generational runner on the track, I'm unsure about the overwhelming amount of Valby content on here.
Excuses excuses, Valby fans loves to throw excuses, like her. She lost, accept it! Valby was able to run well last season due to her crazy fitness, which is the result all the cross training she does, now the rest of the NCAA have elevated their fitness. Valby becomes top 5 runner.

I think right now a flat 6K is her strength as she can hold a 75 s 400 pace a long time. She reminds me of Tuohy as a hs sophomore with a long fluid stride but no real ability to accellerate. Got to work on the speed. Compare Tuohy running the hs mile record to ger running the college record and it is 2 very different runners.

4:24 mile converts to an 8:48.
gee I found 2 ladies that ran 4:25ish and 15:00 ish and they both ran 8:41 ish.
BREAKING NEWS: A Kenyan female runner who likely runs a lot defeated a white American female runner who does most of her training on an elliptical machine.
