Oh dear, don't like to see that. Hopefully just a minor sprain as would love to see some outdoor 1500m showdowns with all the main contenders healthy this year. This is the third British athlete with a metatarsal injury I've seen recently, weird!
Interesting that both Wightman and Ingebrigsten have had set-backs this winter. With Cheryuit and Kerr looking a little off their games last year, Nuguse actually has a really good chance at being the top 1500m guy in the world this year.
Wightman and Ingebrigtsen had set-backs last year as well, both with Covid. Ingebrigtsen had a set-back before Tokyo. Jakob, at the very least, will be fine and he's still got the 3k WR attempt next month to get a read on where he is. Early season sprains and niggles don't usually matter. It's not like either of them broke a bone
