Steiner continues to impress with historically fast indoor 400 meter race.============================================================Copyright Disclaimer Un...
I didn’t watch this video but saw a different one.
She looked pretty gassed at the end but that was a good effort. It seems that Tim Hall is having her do these 400s to build her up for the 300 at Millrose. I’ll not be surprised if she breaks the indoor 300 world record at that meet. Eager to see what she does in an outdoor 400.
Abby was pretty much destroyed in the WC final at 200 losing by 10-12 meters so you figured the 400 would happen sooner than later . def a 200-400 sprinter now . Never heard the expression 400 flat before . if it’s a relay you say leg or carry
She can easily break the 300m AR at millrose. Hopefully prandini and brown can push her
I think she’ll get the world indoor record.
Steiner’s best 300 is 35.80. Quanera Hayes has the American record at 35.71. The world record is held by Irina Privalova, set in 1993, and is 35.45. Chandra Cheeseborough ran 35.46 in the rarely contested outdoor 300. Marita Koch has the outdoor record at 34.1x. That was set in 1985 and is more than likely out of reach. It’s also a tainted effort.

Poor take.
Yeah, she lost by quite a bit but that was after competing nearly 60x on the season. Be cognizant of how often collegiate athletes compete over the course of a season. Those ahead of her competed a lot less throughout the year.
Let’s wait and see where Steiner is as a pro before proclaiming how successful she’ll be. She is a good bit ahead of where World champ Shericka Jackson was when she was the same age.
He gets them up quicker than anybody else, but I cringe when I click them.
Yes. TRP works hard, but his click-baity titles are such a turn off I usually avoid him.
What makes me cringe is how he has hacked youtube's "fair use" policy by chopping otherwise copyrighted clips into mincemeat and tossing in irrelevant clips of other competitions to endrun the fact that he doesn't have proper permission. I understand why and I want to see the timely coverage, but it almost physically hurts to watch. So it goes.
