Obviously I'm not talking about powerlifters and other hobbyist that use the gym for their hobby. I'm talking about new Year's revolution folks. Personally I never go to the gym, I mainly run daily and occasionally MTB a few times a week, 2-3 times a week I do calisthenics (nothing fancy just pull ups, and push ups or dips)and do a few kettlebell swings. Yet I always get compliments from dudes at the beach on my physique. I never understood why people pay for a gym membership most people never use. For a fraction of the cost setting up a pull up/dip bar in their house and going for a 30 min walk would benefit the average Joe way more than doing some wacky complex for no reason training program that's going burn them out in a month. So my question is why do so many people buy into these crash programs?
