My neighbour was saying one of his New Year's Resolutions is to start Parkrun. He's a keen cyclist with 3 road bikes and a one of those things where you race people online, not sure of the name.
I was like "yeah come along dude, it's really inclusive even if you just jog". He said there's no way he could run 5k and will have to walk-run.
He cycles 25 miles at the weekend, I know it's different muscle groups but surely a cyclist could run 5k? If not why even bother. The fitness gained through cycling must be practically negligible?
