My thoughts..
No adult is friends with a child and you need to stop referring to professional athletes, especially Shelby, as your friends when they are not. Are you grabbing beers with them? Are you hanging out with them? Are they confiding in you about their lives, work, relationships? They aren't your friends. I feel bad for you because it's clear that Shelby and her team have exploited you, your youth and your naivety for her own gain, but it's getting tiresome, and you are getting older and you have to take some responsibility here for platforming and promoting someone serving a ban, with little evidence that she is innocent.
Travis Tygart said that the AIU handled it exactly as it should have been handled. From the horses mouth. Travis is NOT on Shelby's side as she has said he is. Yet another lie from Shelby.
Travis believes it was a supplement that caused the positive test. If that is true it means Shelby purposefully lied because she knows what supplements she is taking. I've always believed Shelby knows where the source is whether she was intentionally cheating or not. Lying about the source, is still wrong and she deserves a ban.
Travis on the length of the ban: they couldn't determine what caused it. They went the meat route and not the supplements. Since they couldn't prove it, then intentional doping is on the table and so she had to serve the ban. Travis has no issue with the ban. He is not against it.
Travis recommendations: use certified supplements. He tries to educate people on supplements, and hold on to supplements just in case they test positive.
