Let Indonesia do as Indonesia wishes. Of course, I don't know that a country where 57% of births to millennial women occur out of wedlock and 63% are to women who lack a college education should be doling out advice to other countries on how to approach marriage. If you really want to understand why the gap between the haves and the have nots continues to grow, you really only need to look at those stats right there.
Sure they can do whatever they want but having been there twice I probably won't go again. Hard to see how this won't hurt tourism. There are plenty of other options in the region.
When I first read the thread title I had to reread it because I thought it said “GOP CRIMINALIZES sex outside marriage.” I guess that happens next year.
Under the new criminal code passed on Tuesday, Dec. 6, anyone found having sex outside of marriage will face up to a year in prison. Cohabitation before marriage will also be banned, though only close relatives can report those found cohabiting or having sex outside of marriage.
Good book. A lot of nice life concepts which are still applicable today
There is a difference between people choosing to abstain from sex outside of marriage (whether inspired by the Bible or not) and having the state control the sex lives of consenting adults.
