Yes I would. I believe he was a clean runner. Was elite at every stage since middle school. trained so hard he ran himself Into the ground.
if he was dirty he would have sustained higher highs in his performances.

I believe he was clean but no, I would not risk my retirement savings for that.
I have heard, second hand to be honest, he retired because his testosterone was low and he didn’t want to compete while taking supplements. He started taking them after he was through competing .
A long athletic career does not imply an athlete is or was dirty. Certainly a short athletic career is not evidence of innocence.
Ryan Hall is still in fact in his career right now. He is making money as an IG physical fitness influencer. And he is clearly doping. The fact that no running journalist has exposed this is pathetic
No way to confirm it but I guess there is an assumption it can be proved either way.
Would you bet your retirement savings that Jesus really was the son of God (assuming it could be proved)?
This would be one of the dumbest bets of all time.
I think he was likely clean but Nick Willis is the only runner I'd make that bet on.
I don't have any retirement savings, so I'll take that bet.
I think the fact that he is clearly doping now makes it more likely that he was in his running career as well
I'd bet he took the PED synthetic testosterone which would also explain his sudden state of low T. His crazy aggressive starts in marathons could be explained by increased confidence due to PED usage. Also, a lot of cheaters use God as a front to feel subconsciously rid of their sins. God is about forgiveness for them.
Pretty sure he was a patient of Dr. Brown (not the one from Back to the Future) at some point, so, no. Not taking that bet.
Why would a running journalist waste their time looking into if someone is doping or not after they have completely given up running competitively? He may be doping know because he had low t so would make sense to try stuff. Probably from a doctor. That doesn’t mean he doped during his running career
What a stoopid question! Of course he was clean. He's a deeply religious Christian.
I would take that bet. I met Hall once and he was the nicest, sweetest person you could ever imagine a professional athlete to be.
I wouldn’t bet money on any multiple Olympic medalist being clean.
I'd bet my 401k he WAS doping. All Olympians dope. All of them.
It matters if he’s doping now. For several reasons. (1) he says he’s not doing (2) he’s a role model to his kids and kids everywhere. (3) bc it’s the truth
Probably, but wrote:

I'd never make a bet like this willingly on anyone but if I was forced to make one either Willis or Kawauchi would be my choice.
