The U-20 sprint star said after World Jrs he would be at Oregon in September.
Did that happen? I assume not as I don't see him on the roster. Can anyone confirm? What are his plans?

PS. It seems like it would be a no-brainer for Nike to sign him to a big $$ and then let him run at Oregon. Would that be legal under NIL?With 20 NCAA points, Jerry would be 40% of the way to an NCAA title.
"Tebogo has yet to decide whether he will focus more on the 100m or 200m in the future. He is planning to start at the University of Oregon — basing his training outside of Botswana for the first time — in March and will also make the step up from junior to senior racing next year."
This article is from October 4th.
seems seems like a no brainer to focus on the 100, u20 world record in the 100 vs the 200 with Erriyon Knighton.
Rojo, I don't understand, aren't you a journalist? Have you called or emailed Oregon and ASKED?

It's completely possible that the coaches at Oregon won't answer emails from known trolls. Imagine Schumacher getting an email with two spelling errors just in the subject line alone. It'd be sent straight to the trash bin.
Rojo starts interesting speculation threads like this sometimes to drum up forum activity. How is that so hard to figure out ? Are you new here ?
Kind of.
I update the website normally LATE at night after my 4-year old has gone to bed. If I email Oregon, woudl I really expect to get a reply at midnight? No. Of the tens of thousands who visit letsrun daily, I figured one of them would know and would know the answer and easily be able to post it.
It's so much more of a time saver to do it this way. If I do it that way,I have to wait hours for an answer, then type it up, etc.
It's the same reason why people use twitter. Rather than starting their own blog, posting, etc, people post on twitter as it's more convenient.

(1) what, do you put your four year old to bed at midnight?
(2) how exactly is it a time saver? You haven’t gotten the answer to your question yet and it’s been 24 hours. In that time you could have emailed and/or called several people at Oregon. Not to mention the fact that you had to follow up with the above response.
(3) you are not smart

Have you contacted anyone at Oregon yet?
Just email someone at Oregon already
Could not get in academically....end of thread.
