So I'm a 34yo guy who usually dates women my age or even a couple years older (I am mature for my age partially because I was surrounded by people older than me growing up). However, I went out with a 25yo about 2 months ago now, and we hit it off immediately. Not only is there a lot of physical chemistry, but we both genuinely like each other a lot, and honestly, she's WAY more mature than the vast majority of women I've gone out with. For instance, I dated a 34yo for 6 months about a year ago, and this new girl is far more mature and with it than that woman was... It's easy for me to forget the age difference because I never think about it. We talk and do things and have fun. Everything has been great so far (though of course it's still early).
All that being said, and I really don't care about this but am just wondering what to expect, will people think it's weird at all given the 9 year age gap? I know there are bigger gaps out there, but 9 is by far the largest I've ever had. Anyone been in a relationship like this around this age? Does anyone care these days?
