I am looking at women's Pac-12 results, and it says that Colorado beat Utah on a tiebreaker. But it looks like Utah had the better 5th and 6th finisher. What is the tiebreaker for the Pac-12?

Interesting, I've only ever been aware of the '6th runner' tie breaker. I guess the winner of this version of the tie breaker would probably win in a more competitive race as there would be more bodies between each of their people. A stud runner is more impactful in a higher competition meet, and a bad 5th runner hurts more in a higher competition meet.

What if there is a three way tie, and the comparisons 2-2-1?
(It could happen)
The team with 1 head to head to head win would finish 3rd out of the three tied teams, and then you would go through and compare the other two teams to figure.
