Number of quality Aussie in the NCAA's will Robinson win XC
Help with this question:
Since Australia hosts the World XC champs next February -- and presuming Robinson wants to represent his country at this race and Stanford allows him to -- does Ky have to go back to Australia to run a qualifying race, or would Australia's T&F Federation simply nominate him for the team?
He's not just an Aussie, he's a Queenslander. Born and bred in the same state as Pat Tiernan. Must feel bad for Americans with all these Aussies coming over and snatching NCAA titles from their hands.

Australia's word cross trials are being held on 15th of January. According to the selection process, the first 3 runners at the trial are granted automatic selection for the team. This leaves 3 spots open for discretionary selection. There are a whole bunch of criteria used for discretionary spots including past cross country performances, likelihood of placing in the top 24 at world cross country championships.
I've heard there are other athletes coming back for the trials, so it may not be the best decision to give it a miss if he cares about making the team.

Sounds like you know a bit? Who makes Aussie men's and women's team for Bathurst?

Will be quite a pain if he has to head back to Stanford in between trials and WCs.

Do Aussies feel bad they have to go to the States for a quality education??
