Praggnanandhaa is #52 in the world with a rating of 2687. So its news when he beats Carlsen at 2856. Niemann is #40 at 2699 - when he beats Carlsen it's cheating. So I guess the answer is yes.
Awful comparison. Prag hasn’t been caught cheating in money tournaments in the past. He also isn’t coached by a cheat. Hans is coached by Maxim Dlugy, who has also admitted to cheating. Birds of a feather flock together.
Until the cheating is proven, not just suspected, no one cheated.
I saw a really neat statistical breakdown that essentially proves the kid has cheated many times. Matching the best computer moves for every move in a game several times when no other grandmaster does it ever.

"Proof is a fact that demonstrates something to be real or true. Evidence is information that might lead one to believe something to be real or true. Proof is final and conclusive. Evidence is tentative."
What you claim to have seen is evidence, not proof.

Overwhelming evidence counts as proof though right? I’m pretty sure it does in our legal system

Nope.
It's proof.
No human can match the top engine move every time in an entire game.
Anyone else other than admitted cheat Hans Niemann?
it's unfair to call hans niemann a cheater. he cheated as a kid while playing online. it's not fair to hold this against him. if he was somehow cheating in a live tournament, then blame the tournament organizers for not having better anti cheat detectors.

Well I saw a really neat interview with a renowned expert on chess cheating that is often brought in by the chess federations to review these allegations and his models revealed to him that it is very unlikely that Neiman cheated when he beat Magnus.
Hans Niemann is accused of cheating by chess world champion Magnus Carlsen after the pair met in round three of the prestigious Sinquefield Cup in early September, but a leading authority on chess cheating thinks otherwise.
As around a 1400-1500 Classically Ranked Amateur, I've studied Praggnanandhaa's games and I can safely say that he's brilliant player with great strategy. Magnus has beaten him soundly in classical chess, but Praggnanandhaa does has a legitimate chance in rapid chess since you can't think as deeply there and you are more prone to blunders the less time you have. He still blunders sometimes but usually has a consistent gamescores indicating he isn't cheating during games, and is constantly improving. Kid should be ranked at least 2700+ based on his skill. I pick him to be future world champions.
