He’s off the roster. But didn’t see the news elsewhere. Any sources other than that?
Is he redshirting?
Turn pro??? Get outta here.
Vito goes home devastated
I heard Wesfly is looking for a new CEO.
Noticed that too and he’s not even on the updated 2023 track and field side roster. Will be follow to VanHoy to Cal Poly?
Chief Niwot called him in his sleep and told him he need to come back to Boulder bro

CEO is active. Just dropped a youtube video. ES did a 100-mile run. Pretty interesting.
There's no other options but for him to stay in school.
He's probably just redshirting.
He still has ole miss track/xc in his insta so I doubt he’s gone
He’d still be on the roster even if he was redshirting. He’s not on the 2023 track roster either. He must be out! If he still wants to run in college he’ll find a home pretty easy, but makes it hard to ever get adjusted to a school/town/coach when kids transfer this often. Best of luck Cruz!
Mines. might make top 5.
NAU?!? Dad is coaching HOKA in Flagstaff. CU?!? Go back to his roots (Not likely).
Got into Washington because coach got him in on athletic scholarship variance, not academics. Ole Miss has no academic standards.
Mines doesn't need him nor would he be accepted academically.
CU would take him but doubt if Wetmore would give him much if any scholarship $$$.
Perhaps he is transferring to Calpoly?
His family moved to Flag this summer with a sweet coaching gig. Why would he not follow when his college coach left. Not being on a college roster means you cannot train with the team legally and would be a major sign that he did in fact leave, not a sign of redshirting. Wish him luck with whatever he has chosen to do, running is tough, finding an elite team thats a solid fit is even tougher. Would be pretty cool for him to run for his dad.
My son's school pulls guys who redshirt. I think it is for Title IX. Take them off of the website and roster.
That’s unlikely. He was on scholarship. Whether he’s listed on the roster or not he plays a role in numbers (roster size/money). If he’s not on that roster, he’s no longer a Rebel.
At this point it doesn’t look like the entire family moved to Flagstaff. Cruz has younger brothers who are still in Colorado. Levi runs at Fairview HS and Rocco runs at Niwot HS, both in Boulder County. I assume Alan wanted to feel out the HOKA job for a bit before relocating his family.
