I think men should get married pretty young, say early 20s. Keeps them out of trouble, avoiding running through loads of girlfriends which is not good for them.
I have the same philosophy on ladies.
I agree with the first response - 20’s. My observation is that each year after 25 ya wait to marry, increased chances of divorce. I’m an engineer and most friends are meet/marry young types. Almost everyone is still hitched. mr best friend is a doctor where everyone waited until mid 30’s , like 1/3 of those marriages are still intact.
I've never met a couple who said they wish they had married earlier. I've met plenty who said they married the right person but wish they had waited.
Hmmm I wonder if something else about a doctor's lifestyle may negatively impact the marriage? No...couldn't be...
It both you twat. But the truth is that many/most of the good ones are taken by mid/late 20’s.
I think people should wait until at least late 20s and ideally somewhere early 30s. Anyone who has it going on in their early 30s is going to be a vastly different person from who they were in their early 20s and will ideally be a lot more tuned in to who they are and what is really important to them. Marriage in early 20s (or even late teens) is just a holdover from a time when life expectancies we're shorter and when a person's options were far fewer. For better or worse, in our society today most people in their early 20s are still just kids who have no business being married.
Just my .02, YMMV and all that.
