Flagstaff, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona Cross Country Teams opened their season this afternoon with commanding wins at the 42nd annual George Kyte Classic. The men
I wondered whether he was really there when he was absent from a season preview and absent from this race and had no bio on the website but he has NAU posted on his instagram and a picture of him presumably in the mountains near NAU, so maybe he's being held back to more gradually prepare for 8k/10k and to race first later in the season in hopes he'll not be overraced for regionals and nationals if he's at that level. Looking at the roster right now and comparing to his ex-teammate, I'd think he was in 13:30s shape outdoors at worst, and probably in 13:20s shape by October, so he should make that top five.
Well covered sport with no news whatsoever on the top freshman prospect even after the beginning of the season.
You really seem to complain in the overwhelming majority of your posts. Are you that way in “real life”, or are you just overcompensating on this platform because you don’t actually do it in real life?
Looks like NAU held a bunch of guys, including Colin. Grotenhuis, Easton, Gorgas, Kusche, Barnhill didn't race either. Who cares? It's early, and basically a team time trial.

Yeah this sport sucks with coverage, but this instance is such a non-issue. NAU effectively ran a time trial on their home course, which their top freshman rarely run, there is nothing to say here. If he doesn't show up at Pre-nats / Nuttycombe then I would expect to hear something.

Why is just about any race referred to as a time trial? Wouldn’t “Intrasquad” be a better description of this race?
