she still had multiple moments of success after 2015. In 2016 she ran a 4:13 indoor mile and was the Olympic Silver Medalist. In 2017 she ran a world best for 2000 at 5:23 as well as a 14:25 5k to take down Gidey. In 2018 she ran 3:56, 14:26, and was a double winner of the indoor world championships beating Sifan Hassan and Laura Muir in the 1500 and the 3k. In 2019 she ran 3:56 and 3:55, beating Tsegay, Hassan, and Muir while winning those two races. She also ran an 8:21 3k, and looked poised to factor in the medals. But issues arose at the Diamond league final, as she returned to racing after a month to six weeks off. She tried to control the pace from the front with a fartlek style race, but by the final 200 hassan was by and Dibaba was left hobbling on the final straight. She still ran 4 flat that day, but clearly was injured and pulled out of worlds with a stress fracture in her foot. Since then she hasn't really found her old form, although she did win her debut half marathon in Valencia in 1:05 at the end of 2020.
She frequents the LRC message boards and often posts words of encouragement to those who need to be uplifted from their self imposed poor mental state. She has a disdain for the mods because of their need for control and obvious psychological issues.

Hold up. She ran what would have been a women's world record <8 years ago in her half debut???? Had no clue.
Who on the men's side even had comparable mile/1500 and HM performances? Mo 1500/HM? Rupp indoor mile/HM?
And maybe I'm out of the loop and someone like Hassan has put up comparable mile/HM performances.
After her coach was arrested for PED distribution in 2016 she began a steady decline. Pressure might have been put on the Ethiopian federation, as even though she ran fast times she was never selected for another national team after 2017. Quite the blatant doper. If the Spanish police had just raided an hour or so later she would have been caught.

Has there been any new information reliably linking Aden to any of the WADA banned substances found in the rooms of the Saudi physio, and Balla?
I think any athlete, clean or dirty, who stops training with their coach, while both athlete and coach have become the subject of widely publicized doping accusations, but not charged by the IAAF, would suffer negatively both physically, from the changes in training, and mentally, as the public and competitors demonize them with every victory.

It’s always odd to me when someone posts something like this instead of just Googling Sifan Hassan and learning that yes, she has run 3:51.95 and 65:15.
