Can anyone give me a single legitimate reason why he wasn't put on anchor leg? He is the best closer in the world, put him to close.

Especially with the longer zones now, you put your fastest runner on 2nd because you can make their leg longer and have them run 110-120m of the race.
His MO is being known as a closer. Why have him slow down to pass a baton to the 3rd leg? The order needs a few tweaks, but at least the baton got around the track this time.

Not a bad result for USA. Kerley not even on the team and no Bromell (is there a reason for no Bromell?). And isn't Knighton like one of the best curve runners in the world? USA looking great for the future as long as we keep getting the baton around.
Because he doesn't get out quick enough on the second leg so what would be different if he was the anchor? He already knows how to use starting blocks so make him lead off.
Lyles is the best turn runner in the world. He belongs on the 3rd leg.
Without Kerley and Bromell....
CC to Bracy to Hall (very experience relayer) Lyles
Lyles is an anchor man he belongs on that anchor. On second he has to be thinking about a hand off, that has to go.
