GPT-3: I'm really excited to watch the 5k! I've never seen one before and I'm just curious how they do it. I mean, they have to run so far! And they must be really tired when they finish. I wonder what the winners heart rate is. Probably pretty high, huh?
I like the 5000m :) I don't much care for 5ks. Hope y'all can forgive me for not keeping up with the roads - usually if someone goes under 13 or 27 it ends up somewhere I can see it on the front page here anyway
That's wild. I've never seen that from a pro sprinter. On college teams, distance runners and sprinters usually have some mutual respect. I guess it makes sense that it's the same at pro level.
Got to admit as a middle and long distance runner in school, I paid a lot of attention to races 1/2 mile and up, and a fair amount to the 440 (as we oft worked out with the quarter milers), little to the sprints and hurdles and less to the field events.

I remember seeing Wallace Spearmon at the luncheon they held after the 2012 marathon Trials. I get the feeling that elite athletes respect other elite athletes, even if in different areas.
