Just watched his interview after the DQ in the 110H final. Despite the absolute absurdity of the situation, and how unbelievably frustrating it had to have been, the dude is completely chill, measured, and (although clearly upset) doesn’t blame anyone or anything. He didn’t even flinch when the interviewer (imo completely inappropriately) brought up his dad’s recent passing. One of the best interviews I’ve ever seen, from any athlete.
Never really followed the hurdles enough to know of the big name runners all that well, but absolutely a fan of this guy as of today. Can’t even imagine what he’s going through, and to handle it with such complete composure is incredible.
