Short of Emma Coburn, is the entire team overrated? Dom Scott who did so well at the half was lapped in the women's 10k final..

Why is she always crying.
She seems more concerned with her insta posts. This is what happens when a country selects runners vs earn their way there.

Cory McGee just smoked Elle St. Pierre to make the 1500 final so. Her career has been on an upward trajectory since joining BOSS.
Cory has been with the team for a while now, and short of making teams, this might be the first final she has qualified for with lout crying her way into a final
I don't think Emma Bates is overrated.
Dani Jones is really talented. She should have made a team by now. A change in group and coaching might be in the horizon. Reminds me of Chris Derrick: You’re surrounded by your friends but you’re stuck with the coaching that doesn’t work out with you.
Dani has really struggled with Covid and a rare blood disorder. She is fine.

saw on insta that Dani has a small injury of some sort but she didn't specify what it was. She did saw that she hopes to heal up soon and race later this summer. I don't necessarily see her moving on from Team Boss either, especially since she seems to spend a lot of time with Joe Bosshard's younger brother John (it is clear that they are either dating or just extremely close friends, see insta stories especially recently)

Rare blood disorder? I thought that was Houlihan?
Damnit, are you sure marrying a great runner and having a cool surname doesn't make you a good coach?

She posted this on Twitter. She was so proud to represent her country that she got lapped? Doesn'tmake sense.

It’s official!! Proud to have qualified and be selected to represent South Africa at @WCHoregon22
1. If she was American she would never make a team.
2. Joe struggles with coaching anything other than MD. Watch what happens with Emma in the marathon.

Cory joined the team in 2020 and has made both teams since then. Last year in the Olympics, she fell hard. The fall was so bad that it caused an injury that lasted through the early fall. This year, she ran two back-to-back low 4:0x races to make the final. Seems like things are going well for her.
Joe has had a lot of success with both Emma’s, Kate Grace and Cory. It’s still early for Fauble and Emma Bates but they both ran well in their only marathon under Joe. Also early for Gabbi Jennings but she had a huge PB to get 4th at USAs in the steeple. Maddie Alm has improved a ton since college. Coaching at this level is incredibly hard. Not everybody will continue to improve for a number of reasons other than coaching. Joe seems like a good coach that individualizes training pretty well. I do question the decision to go to Crested Butte every year. It’s pretty high up there and not everybody responds well to that. Every year the team goes to CB and the results coming out are mixed.
"Watch what happens"? You act like she hasn't run a marathon under Bosshard's training. She got second at Chicago less than 10 months ago.
What blood disorder does she have? She’s got tons of talent, hoping for great things in the next couple years
Man the critics on here are brutal…how much more success would you like them to have? They aren’t a branded group.
Emma Bates - 2nd @ Chicago
Scott Fauble - 1st American at Boston
Dom Scott - 66:30 half and 31:00 10k
Kate Grace - multiple 1:57s, DL win, 2nd DL final
Coburn - Multiple global medals and US wins
McGee - 2 world teams. 4:00. Probably will be in the DL final.
Jennings - 4th at US Steeple (didn’t make final the year before)
Morgan McDonald was stringing together some healthy training and good racing before going to ON.
Jones - 2 US Finals

I have to agree, but we are the minority. There was a time when you had to earn the right to represent the USA, now athletes don't even want to represent the country or run slower than possible in order to not get injured for their commercial teams.

Looks like a 7th place finish at Worlds with a PR by 1:02. This follows a runner-up finish in Chicago last year.

They aren't brutal, they are just downright jealous or extremely ignorant.
All 3 American Women did great today.
3 in the top 8 places and one PR!
Are they suppose to go 1,2,3 to make these magpies happy????
Same posters every time, b*tch, b*tch, b*tch and then B*TCH some more...only on a running forum would you find that.
