Has there been any indication of his fitness levels this year? 400, 800, 1000, 1500... anything? It is difficult to know, especially given his history of hiding injuries and attempting to race through them in big competitions.

February 11th he ran a 600m race that gave him 1268 world athletics points which is the about the same as a 1:41.8 800m points wise
I read this wrong at first and thought OP was calling out some promiscuity. I know Big D is a star and stars get lots of action, but one would hope it stays out of the headlines. Don’t want to end up like Mike Phelps!!

And since indoors he has hurt his foot and has shown nothing. Maybe he just needs 6 weeks to turn into a 143 guy but I wouldn't hold my breath.
People are sleeping on Brazier because Brazier is still injured and has admitted as much himself. He’s not even confident he’ll tie the line. If he was healthy, people wouldn’t be sleeping on him.
If he is healthy enough to get through the rounds then there is no reason he can’t threaten for a medal.
Unfortunately I think you are wrong. He hasn’t shown fitness in a really long time. Really a shame, probably one of our most talented runners the US has ever had. I’m always skeptical when athletes get hurt for this long if they can make it back.
I hope I’m wrong, that 2019 race at worlds was amazing. Hopefully he can get back there and win Olympic gold in Paris.
Yes he hasn't been in as quite good shape as 2019, but we forget that earlier this year he ran a 46.14 400m indoor with only a couple hours to prepare. Pretty insane for a guy that has run 3:35 as well. Even if he is not at 100% he may not need to be since the field this year is not that strong. Unless someone pops off the only guy I can see outclassing him so far is Burgin
