Top 3 at UTMB.
Right. Okay. Uh huh.
I'll have some of what you are smoking, cause it must be reallllllly good stuff.
Well this year is a poor field only Xavier Thevenard and Jim Walmsley are ahead of Sage, I don’t see how Tim Tollefson and the rest could beat Sage…
Last I heard Killian was running? And not sure if Courtney is running but she would probably beat Sage...
If Sage is in the top 20 at UTMB it would be a good result for him
I'd really like to see an American man win at UTMB finally.
Why?
Sage is a beast man
Go Sage!!!
You'll get your wish.
SETH MF JAMES MF DEMOOR FTW!

Saw him write that on Strava. The dude should seriously get checked out before he ends up in deep trouble.
Sage and French Jim are putting in the work. On their respective days in the Alps Jim > Sage at this point of their careers but UTMB is more about surviving and grinding away. A lot of people go out hard and drop, especially during the night. That means someone can battle away and make the podium even if they aren’t close to the winner.
I think Sage can do it, so I’m backing him for a hard earned podium (top 5) which will be a fantastic effort considering how his last 2 years have gone.
Jim on the other hand hasn't finished a UTMB in 5 years. I think this year, he probably doesn’t win but finishes again and learns a lot, then next year he wins it. Maybe he needs a winter skiing and eating pickles with Francois to really get the body ready for it.
Maybe we should summon Sage for his input..?

Yes, TECHNICALLY Ol' Jimbo hasn't finished UTMB in 5 years..but it's not like its 5 DNFs in those 5 years
It's 2 DNFs, 2 "Not Entered" and 1 "Race not held due to Covid"
He did finish 5th there in 2017.
This is not 2015. Sage is a royal pu$$y for not speaking up about his vax injury.

Hypocrite, again, typical.
Mostly I feel bad for Sage because recently someone here likes to over hype him. Maybe wait until he has done something before expecting he will go well at UTMB. Even before he had major health problems the likelihood of him doing well at such a long race was pretty low.
Great job Sage and awesome to see you are recovered.
