Sprint coaches, can you explain that to me?
I don't want to hear drugs. IF she was on drugs, you'd think she'd have been on them then.
That was incredible. I just looked it up. I guess she had run 10.88 wind legal prior to NCAAs but that was cool.

What a race and improvement! Good post race interview too saying that if NCAAs went as planned, this wouldn’t have
Didnt she just perform poorly at NCAAs?

She must have just had an off day at NCAAs. Don't forget she's already an NCAA champ (indoors). Talent doesn't just disappear, but it takes top talent to be consistent. Good for her.
She bonked at NCAAs, simple as that right?

SMH. She has run very very fast before and was the NCAA Indoor 60m champ this year. She had a bad race at NCAA outdoors thats all.
1952 Lindy Remigino takes 5th at the NCAA's in the 100m, later that season he wins the Olympic 100m out leaning Herb McKenley.
The indoor 60m is not tantamount to a windy 10.69 in the 100m. Just because you run well at 60m does not mean that you dominate the pros at 100m.
Yeah, but 10.9 is just a crazy time for her, windy or not. She ran well indoor bit NOTHING to make anyone think 10.69 was coming. NOTHING!

lol some of these replies are irritating, she ran 10.82 legal in the semis and her 10.69 with this wind converts to 10.82 at 0.0 m/s and 10.72 at 2.0 m/s, very nice run.
I was there and was Really surprised it wasn’t wind legal.. it was barely breezy in the stadium. Great run!
Nice to see some new faces. Was rooting for Davis tho. Dammm
She ran 10.96 in the Semi at NCAA and then just had an off race in the final for 11.24. Could have been bad start, miss step or just didn't feel good.
She also ran 10.88 at her conference final. None of this is that crazy.
Her indoor 60 shows her ability.
she has an excellent coach
ncaas is a long season. And for whatever reason it didn’t work out as outdoor ncaas.
good coaching and talent figured it ouT when it matters.

Not true. As others have pointed out, she ran a wind legal 10.88 this season, and wind legal 10.96 in the NCAA semis. She is legit and has shown it all season.
While the win at USAs is definitely a "holy crap" moment, the 10.69 with 2.9 m/s wind converts to a 10.84 using https://jmureika.lmu.build/track/wind/index.html.
