Did anyone notice the 3-command start for a non-laned event? In addition, the starter clearly didn't ensure that the athletes were SET before yelling go. Finally, a regulation starting pistol was not used. Clearly, the time for that rep is eligible for any WA ranking.
There's a force in the universe that makes things happen. And all you have to do is get in touch with it, stop thinking, let things happen, and be the ball.
She has great range. That is a decent time for someone who is more of an 800/1500 runner. That is the type of speed she is going to need to run the 800 at the world level (Mu and Rogers have run faster). Kind of a downer to see her focus on the 1500 as USAs, but that probably is the event she is more likely to make the team. I think in a tactical 1500, she would be really dangerous with that speed. On a similar note, it will be interesting to see what DeGenero does at USAs. Even though she is the 30th fastest, her kick makes her a threat (she crushed it indoors, and might have done the same outdoors had she not been impeded by the Ole Miss runner coming off her line in the final straight).

Hurt is running the 800 and scratched the 1500.
My bad. I meant to say 800. I'd like to see her in a 1500. She ran a PR in the 1500 early this season, and I'd like to see her run another, as I think that might be her better event with her combination of speed and endurance.
Sintayehu Vissa from Ole Miss outlasted the field in the final stretch to pick up a national championship at the 2022 NCAA outdoor track and field championsh...
Didn't see anything that even hinted at being illegal or an obvious attempt to impede. Vissa did make a slight angle during the final straight away but runners always do that and degenero had a clear line to the finish and was simply outkicked and didn't have that impressive of finish

Bush league, Tinman. Follow the rules.
Uh, the time for that rep is NOT eligible for any WA ranking.

Personally, I think Drew Hunter deserves points for this effort
