Solid results. 10.85 and 22.38, but that's not going to get gold. She will make the team in the 1. Not sure about the 2. The Jamaican girls will be ready for her. Bronze at best at WC's.

Honestly I think she is rounding into form at the right time. Didn’t she start off the season just over a month ago with an 11.37? 200 will be tough but if she can throw down closer to 22 flat, I think she stands a chance. I hope Steiner keeps it rigs there, she’s had a long NCAA season and worlds is still 2 months away essentially

She's only been competing a couple weeks. I think her time is pretty solid, considering. I'd say she is probably going to get silver in the 100, and nothing in the 200, but be there in the finals.

The fish net stuff, the long wig, and those fingernails have to adversely affect her time.
I noticed she was slow out of the blocks. She lost nearly a full step in the first 10 meters. I wonder if those super long fingernails prevent her from using an optimal hand position coming out of the blocks? I've seen photos of myself coming out of the blocks and if my fingernails were as long as hers, they would have been scraping the track on the first back swing.
She could pick up time with a better start, but her race has always been about the acceleration out to 60, and holding speed late.
I definitely think she could have easily gotten an extra 0.03 and the win yesterday if not for those stupid push nets creating all that drag. So, a good start, and a normal kit, and she’s in the low 10.7s???

Yea I too have wondered in an event that come own to thousandths of a second, having a metal cross banging on your chest and a gold watch or a pound of hair cant help. Whoever we are talking about.

Bronze at what distance? I suspect she will only run the 100M and I don't see her winning bronze at this distance at best.
Without the PEDs she's probably like an 11.1 or 11.2 woman. And I'm not taking about the Mary J.
You keep commenting that Sha’Carri used/uses PEDs. If you consider marijuana to be a PED, then I guess your comments are justified. I’m not a big fan of hers but unless you have proof of other PED use, you should probably just STFU. You sound like a broken record.

Sha'Carri is currently the top US 100 runner. She is the best hope for a medal at the WC. Her outlandish outfit yesterday was probably worth .1 to .15, perhaps more, so that 10.85 is probably in the 10.70 to 10.75 range right now, at most. She would have beaten Hobbs. I would tend to think that she will not be wearing that outfit at the USATF meet and providing she makes the US team, will not be permitted to wear it at the WC.
I honestly thought that Sturgis would have challenged Richardson a bit more and at the very least, beten Daniels for the 3rd spot. Daniels 10.99 was impressive and it was her first legal sub 11 of the season (+1.3).
My hierachy for the women's 100 right now is 1. Richardson 2. Hobbs 3. Daniels, Sturgis, Terry. I'm not sure what to make of Tamari Davis. I thought that she would be a bit ahead of were she is now. Steiner could be challenging for that #2 spot if she gets hear start together. She has the tools to be in in 10.7 to 10.8 range but ultimately she is best at the 200 and will eventually be a 200/400 person.
