Wow. He's so beautiful to watch. Doesn't even touch the wtaer.
What's the record for most sub-8s in a row?

Based off of this, 3 sub-8s might be the record for a year. Shaheen (formerly Cherono) ran three sub-8s in 2005: 7:55.51, 7:56.34, and 7:57.28

I've done the research. GIrma is the first man to ever run straight sub-8 steeples in the same year.
Shaheen had 4 straight sub-8s at the end of 2004 and beginning of 2005. He also ran sub-8 in three straight races at the end of 2005 and beginning of 2006 but he never had 3 straight in the same year.
Shaheen did have 3 sub-8s in2005 but not in a row.

To make a hurdle comparison, I hope he's like Warholm, basically living at historically great times, and one day he's going to just run 7:50
With how loaded Ethiopia is at the 5k/10k I've been waiting for them to take over the steeplechase also, Girma and Wale seem to be the ones to take that on. Still kind of strange to me that throughout the 2000's they never had any great steeplers whereas Kenya was absolutely dominant.
