She's not running at Pre, and she hasn't announced any other meets that she plans to enter. It seems like she has no intention of racing at USA's this year.
We got our weekly thread on this

The IG model? She races??
She's made a big deal about finally hurdling in practice again but she's been out of the game so long seems pretty hard to imagine her getting back to her 9:10 steeple self anytime soon. Interesting that she gets a race together but it's a 1500, paced for mid-4:00s. She seems like a full time influencer pretending to still be competitively racing but not actually doing it. How many competitive steeples can there be for the rest of the qualifying window (through June 12)? USAs standard is 9:40.
This is the exact vibe I’m getting from CQ . Probably closer to 930 shape than 910
Why do you say paced for mid-4s? Isn't 2:12 at 800 something like 4:06 for 1500? USATF standard is 4:05.70
She's got to keep dragging the sponsors along and pretending she is going to get there.
She's only 29 and talent doesn't go away.
If Quigley stays motivated she will return to good form and remain one of the top U.S. runners into her mid 30s.

That would require her to be fully healthy enough to withstand a cycle of good training. I am not sure she can do that but we shall see.
My guess based on nothing but conjecture...
I think she waits until after the US champs, does some domestic races to shake some rust off and see if she can give it another go, and assuming non-disaster uses that to build back into the competitive US scene next year. I don't think she's going to try to rush her way into the US champs to get worked.
Oh colleen.
She was a great talent but it really feels like her heart just isn't in it anymore. She's definitely more interested in media, modeling, influencing, and I think she should just cut herself loose and pursue that.

Colleen is doing what makes her the most amount of money and pretending to still be a pro runner is a good strategy for her financially.
I know that us track fans may not like it, but she is doing what is in her best interest.

She retired and is an influencer/model now.
I enjoy her yoga videos so much. I wish she would post more yoga videos. I use those moves too sometimes.
She's posted multiple times on insta "for those asking I WILL be racing"
Why isn't this thread titled, "Is Colleen Quigley Update"? That's right, isn't it? Help me out here, old-timers?
