I was debating having one thread for the East and one for the West but figure it's easier to just have to check one thread.
East results are here:
West results are here:
West regional is being broadcast on SECN+

I forgot to mention. The East regional was moved up due to weather.
There was a nice pre-regional discussion thread about what was notable on scratches and what not. I've closed it to new posts but you can access it here:

West regional 10k, results say there’s a protest and James Mwuara is highlighted. Any idea what’s happening?

Can we talk about the real fact that these 2 G'town greats are among the very few ACTUAL Collegiate age / American kids/ runners in the NCAA Regional Qualifying field.... whether its the 1500 meters ( where only 1 of the top 10 is an actual college undergrad ( as opposed to a 27 year old Kenyan running as a " college SR" ) to the 10,000 meters -filled with 25-27 year old East African and Australian world circuit runners competing as " college JR's ..."
Sure, its great to have this level of runners , but how does one earn " All American" when it seems, in addition to doing well on college Final Exams one must also compete against the European World Circuit just to make it to your own County's college National Championship....
Winners don’t make excuses.

About 5 guys in the lead pack got taken out when a guy went down with a mile to go. It basically cut the lead pack from 18 down to 13 and likely impacted the list of qualifiers. Unfortunate to say the least.
95th seed in men's 10,000 m qualifies.
It's 9:45am and there's already a weather delay for the East Region women hammer (scheduled to go at 11am).
As for the men's 10k semis, Notre Dame got 4 to advance out of the East. Harvard is the only other school with multiple 10k qualifiers out of the East (2), while Stanford (2) and BYU (2) had tied for the most qualifiers out of the West. BYU lost one in the fall. I'm surprised only 1 from NAU made it (let alone make it to the starting line), considering their XC dominance.
