What's more I was already running my cooldownimmediately before and after this remarkable feat, not even giving myself the benefit of a full standing rest prior to the effort. Sh!t...I've ran sub 3-minute mile pace for about 200 meters before. I should have tried the mile, sub 4 would have felt easy...
I did it barefoot too, and probably could have kept up sub 4 for ATLEAST 2 miles. I mean, with a little bit of training...

Yes, it is not uncommon to run the same pace for the 2 mile in high school, 10k in college, and 26.2 as a professional.
That's going 13 times the distance at the same pace with 8-15 years of additional training.
For you, your 200 only needs to be replicated 7 times! That's far easier than going from a 10 minute to a 2 hr effort.

The elites believe far more than you or I. This is why they are faster. This is also where believing and giving 110% comes in. That extra 10% extrapolated over distance will drop your time greatly. Think about it… if the super shoes are giving you even 2%, imagine what 10% would do for your Personal Bests!
