He said "I'm still in basic training so this was just for getting the qualification, haven't really done any track session or whatever, of course I would start to do that when I get back to flagstaff" (he got back that night)
I'm assuming his basic training training is what we all know, so a lot of sub-threshold and threshold efforts, uphill repeats, strength in the gym, plyometrics, strides and many miles... Do you think he is really running so well without any vo2 max track work? Are the uphill repeats enough?
