It's starting to get really hot and I dont want to try to deal with loading up big mileage in the heat, so I thought I'd spend the next 8 weeks seeing if I can run a decent mile.
Right now I could probably go 6 flat at my best. 55 year old Masters runner, what does the Hive Mind of LR think I should do to get faster?
-Doesnt have to be 8, weeks I could go for 10-12 if need be
- I'm already covering about 40 mpw with some up tempo workouts, but more 5k & 10k stuff, not miler stuff.
Should I get a 2 week plan and just rotate through that?
Just seeing what the consensus is on here.
