Are you sure, that first lap looked like it took 20 seconds
800 clean GOAT
You're pretty naive to think this Botswanan is actually clean when running his PRs. He's probably clean for now, running 150. His performances have been wildly erratic. Also indicating greater probability for PED use.

Long time at the top like El Guerrouj, doper. Erratic performances, doper.
Commonwealth Games 800m champion, Nijel Amos has missed an out-of-competition doping test after a doping control officer failed to locate him at his South African address last month.
It was ridiculously windy (10+ meters) and Amos was leading in to the wind once the rabbit dropped out after 400m (think it was around 1:18 high at 600m). So I wouldn't read too much in to this result.

So he left 200m in the wind in a slow 1:18? That's bad. He's a former 1:41 guy. 1:50 is terrible. Milers are doing 3*1:50 in practice.

Yes Steve, as always, everyone is always naive save for you. You alone are enlightened enough to have cracked the code. Tell me more about your explicit knowledge regarding PEDs and the 800, please.
Looks like an exhibition event. After the finish line, no one in the race looked even remotely tired. Amos is fine and he'll be primed for Eugene this summer
Of course he’s clean here , but 1:50 is run by thousands of clean athletes. People who run in low 1:40s run about 1:46 clean and then start to inject test and epoitin. It’s been the way like that for every human being. 1:50 is a horrible team for him , this late , even if he’s off the juice and having s terrible training block

What an uninformed post.
Amos has had fast times in so many different years, spread out over more than a decade. As for "off" years, he was badly injured and also literally stopped running to do other things at points during that time.
Very, very far from "burned hot once" flashes in the pan like Clayton Murphy or Donovan Brazier.
