Big lead up on instagram, shout outs to sponsors, fearless crouching tiger-hidden dragon type quotes but with a semi-hidden statement in there about a nagging injury for an exit strategy outlet / plugin.
At 9 miles she will get left in the dust and DNF.
Post-race interviews:
"Leading up to the race I had an injury and it wasn't my day. I am still young when it comes to the marathon. I'll be gearing up for a 2024 buildup from here on out." Followed by insta posts.
She hasn’t had luck since NOP disbanded. Wish her the best, but there is no progress. I said it when she pulled out of Boston, the only person who can probably get her back to being competitive is her old HS coach.
at this point I'm sorry but this could be make or break for her [career] - she hasn't run a good race at any distance since maybe her 2018 68" HM in Houston? Since then she hasn't even managed a HM at Marathon pace (or a good performance in any other event) and we're talking 4years now. I'm not saying every performance needs to be perfect but we've seen no glimmer for ages now.
If it's not 70:xx then idk... sure 71 would be OK but at that point I'm only happy for her turning things around a bit, but not impressed with the performance itself
She has been at a high level since middle school. Most women who do well in high school don't tend to have a professional career in running, so she's done well in that regard.
Video has been recovered from a Port Authority bus that was headed east when Pittsburgh's Fern Hollow bridge collapsed, the National Transportation Safety Board says.

Why so harsh? I’m assuming she’s had a string of injuries that has hindered her training.

What was the one thread name again? It was like the Jordan Hasay illusion or whatever.
As soon as I saw that I could suddenly see the truth much clearer. The toilet bowl cleaner thing / blue tongue was the final nail in the coffin.
Typical letsrun tabloid level slander and bullsh!t
You've been stalking her and sniping your bs for years. I wonder how you got so stupid. You should write her biography. And come out from behind that keyboard. I bet she still knows your ugly face. I bet her easy runs still kick your ass.
