Was expecting Boling to have a good shot to get under 10 this weekend. He did have a nice wind of 1.6, but I think the main thing is they've reduced his running load this spring.
100 one week… 200 the next meet.
Maybe he wont be worn down next month like he usually is.
FINALLY........the first sub 10 by a white American, and he will improve on it. Major props to Boling and how he is being used right now, bravo!!!! But he does have the SEC/NCAA where he goes back to multi event score them points.
I can't put Boling along side Bobby Morrow over just a time but he would have to be mentioned when talking the stud white American sprinters, now before some fool says.....what is this race talk,...Google Christophe LeMaitre read what it says about him.
Beyond the antiquated curiosity of Boling being "white" there's not much more to say other than if his performances measure up to all the other collegians then he's worthy of mention. Oh, and by the way, Devonte Burnett of USC just ran 9.99 at Mt. Sac (wind +0.3).
Valery Borzov, Bobby Morrow, Hal Davis all more revered than Slim Frency when it comes to white sprinters.
Based solely on the times, it is LeMaitre.
Based on world rankings, it is not
You said THE GOAT of white sprinters, Borzov and Morrow were Olympic 100/200 champs, Morrow held world records as did Hal Davis. Hell no LeMaitre is some THE GOAT, get this stuff right, ok?

Dino, has does Boling compare to Carl lewis at the same age?
