A Nike Pegasus. I can’t recall the model number but it was probably about 8-10 years ago. Poorly made and broke down quickly. The sole also separated from the upper. Newer models seem to be made better but I haven’t run in Nikes since then
I bought a pair of those overpriced big baller brand shoes and went for a 45 minute run that left me in blisters. I still appreciate Lavar stay in yo lane Ball incomparably though.
I generally use Nikes but there have been several models, over the years, that really tortured my feet. I envisioned the ol shoe dog laughing all the way to the bank (did anyone actually test this model???).
Just got a pair of NB Prism for my son. Was expecting it to be faster then the Propel or other daily trainers such as Skechers gorun. Compared to Razor, there is no comparison without a 5sec lap handicap. Got the Prism from JoesNB possibly explaining the difference between our experience and the otherwise great reviews the shoe has received. Do not see the purpose behind flooding the market with inferior seconds (if that's what happened in our case) because that affects the brand perception. I will not buy it again - not worth the $100 gamble
New Balance Fresh Foam More (version 1). Without a doubt the worst running shoe I've ever tried.
What is bad for one person works great for another. I like that shoe a lot and still have a pair that is in the box. I bought 4 pairs for $50 each from Joe’s NB. I guess others didn’t like them and that was the reason for the markdowns. I probably like the 1080 better but for me the More is a great shoe.

Hopefully you can open this link and see the worst shoe ever made. it's the one Lisa Martin is wearing on this RW cover from '86. It's a Nike...can't remember the model name. It had this all mesh upper that that supposed to cling to your foot to make it stable. but it was terribly poor at it, so they put these stupid plastic buckles on it. So your foot slid around inside the shoe while they top of you foot got pinched at the same time.
Midsole had a full length air pad in it, so was incredibly wobbly and unstable. it was encapsulated by the crappiest foam ever- it literally dried up and crumbled, exposing the air pad inside the midsole. utter garbage. i think i paid 60 or 70 bucks for them and ran less than 100 miles in them
Summer of 1979 a pair of Osaka’s. Back then I was running 105/week and those shoes were disastrous. They fell apart and I used duct tape to hold them together to cross country season when I received a pair of adidas Oregons, the best shoe I ever had.

I had multiple problems with it. It felt very heavy, with a clunky turnover. I feel like a shoe with that much firm foam needs a rocker. It's like trying to roll a cube vs. rolling a sphere. I also had very bad heel slippage. I couldn't do any more than a slow jog because my heel was moving so much. I was actually able to take the shoe off at home simply by using friction from the carpet and sliding my foot out hands-free. No sizing or lacing issues, the heel was just that bad. I'm glad they work for you! New Balance wasted a whole bunch of materials bringing them to market, so I'm glad someone can make use of them. Like you noted, they went to the clearance bin for a reason.
Nike React Infinity. Horrible ride, heavy, clunky. Nike has been over-innovating with their carbon plates, weird geometries, making shoes heavier, and skimping on the uppers. The mechanics of the wheel doesn’t need to be changed. Shoes should be comfortable and light- that’s it.
