Cooper more of a speed runner. A full second faster in the 800 and almost a second faster in the mile. Cooper will be a much bigger force in the 1500, 3000, and 5000. Big strong guys don't do 10k +.

Alright. This is kind of weird. I just dove down the rabbit hole and looked into it. Not only does Galen Rupp have an American-born NCAA record, but Cooper Teare does too. Galen's happened in 2007 and Cooper's happened in 2021. Thats 14 years.
And get this, both of them were wearing gold necklaces when they did it.
