Foul play or mechanical failure? It’s been a while it seems since something like this has went down. Especially since the Malaysian flight scandals.

Video of the nose dive
That turned my stomach upside down just watching that.
Bump
Possible like Alaska Air 261 crash, where horizontal stabilizer jackscrew nut failed, causing loss of pitch control.

Ya either that, or they deliberately crashed it straight down. If you have any control whatsoever they would have tried to glide to a emergency landing. To nose dive like that they've either got to be trying to do it or have zero control of the plane.
This is horrific.
And worse, there's zero doubt somewhere on YouTube, or the Chinese version of it, someone filmed out the window.
suicide
planes don't fall out of the sky
As someone who has flown over 2 million miles... 60-90 seconds is a LONG time to know you're going to die soon.
If that video is real (and who knows given the source) the aircraft looks intact. That makes me think not a bomb. Mechanical? Intentional?
Plains rarely nose dive like that; you can lose both engines and still be somewhat aerodynamic.

A plane dropping at high speed, nose first, is not going to have anyone staying in their seats. They would all be pulled out and crushed in the back as a mass. Most of them were gone before the plane hit the ground.

Does this happen if the plane is on a treadmill?

Whatever happened to flight MH370? Did they ever find the plane?
