Seems impossible for this guy to be able to do all of this crazy stuff on a treadmill by himself, and then somehow not improve or get worse during actual races.
Anybody else think this dude’s treadmill might be calibrated wrong? Lol. I mean if each mile is a few meters short that adds up.
Treadmill is perfectly flat, you can set the exact pace, you can set the thermostat to the perfect temperature, and there’s no wind. If you are used to running on a treadmill, it’s just as fast or faster than running outside. So it’s absolutely possible for someone of his ability.
Whether it’s smart to run that far and that hard in training is a different question entirely, and the answer is almost certainly no.
Waiting for the clowns that claim treadmill running isn't real running to chime in
Oh, it’s real running alright. Just boring as hell. If this is real I couldn’t imagine the skull drudgery.
im sure he is watching movies or at least listening to something. yea its boring, but once in a while its nice to not have to weave in and out of people on the sidewalks or stop for lights and dodge traffic.

It's because treadmill running is significantly easier, despite what some on here will say.
Seen it myself on strava. Guy uploads a 5k of 18 flat on the treadmill, but then runs 19:30 in an actual 5k race. Just lol.

It's just a scientific fact that it is faster than running outside. No air resistance. Slightly less push off force because of the nature of the moving (and flexing belt). Still very impressive....but it would probably be about 10-15sec/mile slower outside at same work output (if heat is controlled etc)
