I have yet to do a workout in the Streakfly, but they feel great and I'm looking forward to trying them out. I bought them because I generally like a lower stack height on anything 10k and under. I generally use Takumi Sen, but with an Achilles issue I've shied away from those and will give the Streakfly a chance.
For a track 10k though...I'll agree with the previous poster that the dragonfly should be in the discussion, and that's very likely what I would go with.
I would NOT use the Streakfly for any race longer than a road mile.
I’ve done workouts (on pavement) and a short tempo run in mine. When doing an 800 or 1000 rep, they feel great. As light as a spike but with a surprising amount of cushioning on the forefoot. I always felt unstable trying to do fast reps in the Vaporfly, like my form was being thrown off by the the high stack, so the Streakfly is an awesome alternative if you are doing fast 400/800/1000 reps on the pavement.
HOWEVER, for any run where you are going at more of an aerobic pace, the Vaporfly is a much, much better option. When running my tempo, I kept looking at my watch thinking surely it was off because my perceived effort and heart rate were so much higher than when I run the same route in a Vaporfly. I noticed that if I wasn’t running with perfect, forefoot striking form, I was getting no energy return whatsoever from the shoe. Basically, the Vaporfly gives gives you a pop no matter your pace but you have to supply your own pop with the Streakfly. It’s light enough to go as fast as you want, but it’s not helping you maintain that pace like the Vaporfly.
The Streakfly actually helped me concentrate on holding better form and the padding to weight ratio is insane so I’ll definitely keep it in my rotation, but I can’t see any use case for the Streakfly as 5K or 10K racer when the Vaporfly exists.
Have to agree that Streakflys feel more like nice workout/trainer shoes than racers. Since they're only an ounce lighter than a Next% and don't have a plate, I don't see where you'd get much of an advantage.
IMO the Reebok Run Fast Pro did what the Streakfly is trying to do over 2 years ago, with a sub-4 oz shoe in basically the same foam. I'd personally choose that over a Next% on the track.

I just bought a pair of Streakfly a week ago and ran a 5K in them. With the Spring sales, I went and picked up a pair of Vaporfly 2. They're on the way. I'm an old guy who mainly runs 5Ks, but I have two 1 mile runs coming up. Which would you wear for the 1 mile or 5K runs if you had to pick between the two? I've been racing in Zoom Fly 4 the past year.

You may have already come up with your own conclusion in the last 5 months, but if not, hopefully this helps. I own both the Streakfly and Vaporfly, and here is my conclusion: for 5k, the Vaporfly is pretty much always going to be better, and for mile, it really depends on your pace. If you're planning on running sub-6ish, I would argue that the Streakfly would be better, as it feels much more like a pair of spikes, but if you're planning on running above that, the Vaporfly will give you a better return. Hope this helps, and good luck in future races.

I've come to pretty much the same conclusion. I mainly use the Streakfly for interval workouts on the track. The Vaporfly for all races and occasionally a tempo workout. I ran a straight road mile race and wore the Vaporfly. If that mile was on a track I would use the Streakfly. Thanks for the info.
