$10,000 for 1st place.
$5,000 for Equalizer Bonus M/F. Women have 6:00 head start.
$5,000 American Record 42:22/47:00
$3,000 for Course Record4 2:22/47:00
Rupp, Leonard Korir, Hillary Bor, Jacob Riley, Futsum, et al.
Humid and hilly. Barely ran 28 flat last year on the track. I would guess he'd be around 43:30-44:00

Couldn’t get into “ the ten”
His move at the start line of the trials was epic
who?

He's not making much of a case by going after the "15k champs"
I suppose there's a 20k "champs" for whoever can't win the half marathons, and a 25k "champs" for anyone still left out after that.
Not hating on Rupp! I hate to see him like this. Reminds me of Alan Webb's last season running like 4:20 in semi-elite miles.
I’m not a Rupp fan, but I like that he’s mixing it up and racing another distance.
It’s not an easy course with the bridge, but the rest of the course isn’t bad at all. The early morning temps in FL aren’t terrible at the moment.
Rupp runs well in adverse conditions.
Could be a nice 15-20k payday for him, depending on equalizer bonus. That's nothing to sniff at!

Solid field. Definitely won't be a walk in the park for Rupp. I'd actually say Bor is the favorite.
It's just amazing to see Rupp racing. It's like he's allergic to racing. My only prediction is that Jacob Riley doesn't win.

He will run 42 something easy
Doesn't matter- has to show up on the world major stage. He has a lot to lose and little to gain from this race. Hope Bor wins

27 years and Todd Williams still has this record.

Agreed. I'm glad that during the second half of Rupp's career, LetsRun is finally taking him seriously as the runner he is. This tends to happen for elite athletes, for some reason.
The Salazar stuff (and the likely doping) is a huge black mark on his record, but if you set that stuff aside, Rupp is incredibly fast, tough as nails, willing to mix it up, and almost always on his game. The "Rupp-certified" label was always ridiculous. This side of Des Linden, Rupp is one of the very worst runners to apply that label to.

What does he have to lose? No matter how he runs, he will still hold the 10000m AR and possession of 2 Olympic medals.

You're joking right? This race has up to $15,000 for the winner. Great to see him doing it.
