i wish there was more insight to what pros make. i watch the tinman elite videos and it seems like drew hunter secured like a minimum of a 100k/yr contract for 10 years rfom what ive read. but only a couple other members are actually signed to adidas? (sam parsons/reed fischer)? how much do those guys make, maybe 30k a year and gear? or do you think adidas has them on like 75k/yr? seems like the tinman guys dont work normal jobs at all so i just wonder how these guys are training full-time without jobs to support themselves? and then the other people on the team may not even be sponsored by adidas at all so they probably just get free gear and no salary - do those guys work part time jobs and we just dont realize it, or are they supported by their parents to fund their rent/food? what do you guys think
on the flipside, what is a cole hocker and cooper teare making? would nike have each of them at something like 100k/yr base contract? 200k? 50k?
i envy these 20 something year olds living the dream running pro and chasing fast times and not holding real world jobs lol. but i wonder how much the 'better' ones are making, and how the 'lesser' guys are getting by (have to assume they aren't saving any money for long term and future, but obviously they are choosing to make that choice by pursuing a dream/fun)
