Her speed has improved this winter, and apparently so has her speed endurance, which was always her strength.
Let's also not forget she ran a 48.9 relay leg in Tokyo...starting off from way out in lane 5. That cost her half a second. Looking at that, adjusting for a flying start, and looking at her hurdles result, she was obviously in sub 50 flat form when peaked in Tokyo.
Her 50.59 in Paris on Aug 29th last season was a little disappointing but understandable; it was her 21st race outdoors (!!!) and not long after Tokyo. She was allowed to be fatigued. But it was good in that she made up a lot of ground on Felix who finished just ahead of her (50.47) in the last 50m, and showed she can mix it with the flat runners.
Note Klaver also ran a PB of 51.20 at the NC's. 3rd and 4th place runners (Lisanne de Witte & Eveline Saarlberg) ran 52.65 & 52.69. That makes the NED already over 1 second faster than last season in the 4x4 for the indoors.
She is amazing and is looking strong this winter! Definitely an amazing talent! It will be interesting to see how does against the Americans...she seems a bit vulnerable in the late stages of races still, but she will be right there with them!

She seems to have a pretty strong finish in the hurdles, remember the way she held off Shamier Little (as sub 50 athlete herself) over and over again last year. Though that may not be enough strength to handle the big two
Chastising my post while you do not even possess 4th grade math skills. F. Bol's 400m outdoor P.B., F.A.T. 50.37.
He still picked you like a dirty nose
I accidentally quoted the wrong post. She only needs 0.04 to be sub-52. But now wrong click around her and it is like stepping on a nest of vipers with small penises.
