Not gonna lie I wasn’t sure if he was burned out in HS and wouldn’t pan out in college or beyond. His turnover is so fast, relatively short guy for the 800. Can you imagine how fast he would look running 1:43 or faster?
As a native Missourian, I've followed Brandon's career for a while now. I admittedly thought that he would peak pretty early given how much effort he put into the age-group track scene. Nothing against him--I just figured he was already pretty far along his individual improvement curve and additional improvements would be scarce.
I'm very happy to be wrong. He seems like a hardworking young man, and is very easy guy to root for. Awesome to see him succeeding at the next level.
Yea that dude don’t miss. If he’s going for 1:44, he’s running 1:44.
You mean except for the fact that he went for 1:44 at SEC's and missed?
....Are you a hater? Because in the interview the announcer only stated he said,"he wanted to do something special". He got the American Collegiate Record and School record at age 20 years and 1 month. He didn't specify beforehand at SEC any time goal, so how did he miss anything?
