Crested Butte is nestled 30 miles north of Gunnison in the south central portion of Colorado. It is approximately 240 miles from Denver/Boulder and in a relatively remote location. When making the trek are you flying or driving? For as often as the group travels, it would wear down a vehicle rather easily but be more cost efficient with 6+ people. It would also be costly to fly from Gunnison to Denver each time with 6+ people several times per year. I know you have a good budget but how do you approach to remain efficient?
Feel free to discuss the grocery store madness too. In my opinion, it would be difficult to grocery shop once per week in Crested Butte-Gunnison which has a) a basic food market in CB and b) Gunnison has a Safeway that sucks. To maintain top athletes, you need access to the right nutrition and foods. Please elaborate.
I ask these things because I considered a move to Telluride (similar situation to CB) but then youre stuck unless you board the planes or beat up the car on a regular basis for your basic essentials and necessary travel.
For what it's worth, I was in CB recently and pondered the "how" regarding these things.
How do you choose athletes to join Boss Babes?
Any future plans to grow the male side of the team?

What happened in Sedona?
As the coach, do you rip darts and eat junk food while coaching at practice and track meets?
There is training at Boulder's elevation 5 - 6,500 and then there is Crested Butte at 8,800 hundred feet. Real elevation training! I know Emma and you are from Crested Butte. How do you train differently at those two altitudes? Do you bring the rest of the team up to Crested Butte for runs or are they mostly Boulder?
I lived and trained at Breckenridge, Colorado 9,600 feet. Didnt get as fast as I thought I should have - but could run fairly consistent pace for a longer time when back to Sea Level.
I really thought the thread title was referring to our Commander in Chief…Joe Bosshard!
When is Emma getting that Steeple AR?
How many athletes is viable to have in your group? It seems like Boss group has grown and contracted, is there an ideal number you have with runners all focusing on different race distances?
Also is there a specific race you enjoy coaching towards the most?

I suspect his group has heard the gossip. He's got to know the word on the street.
My other question is:
Will they take anyone regardless of sponsorship? Will a Nike athlete be welcome? What if you're unsponsored but looking?

How do you relate to the expressions " It`s mainly not about how MANY miles you run , more about HOW you run your miles. " , "enough is enough" and "less is more " ?
Is Mr. Bosshard aware that his wife is destroying the moral fabric of America by regularly choosing to wear jean shorts in public? I know you don't want to ask the tough questions, but this issue really needs to be addressed.

1) How do you create a positive team culture with pros?
2) What is your favorite workout?

Whatever the case, it helps plenty that they can get free lodging there at the Coburn Camelot. Nor is it that difficult to bring a week's worth of groceries from the Whole Foods in Boulder. How often do you believe they make the trek to CB, annually?
You're right, like CB, Telluride is worthless if you aren't a millionaire or a tourist.

??? Is there a thread about this? Never read anything here.
Ask them about The Athletes involvement with Clean Sport Collective > All of Team Boss members have signed up , as well as the NB Boston and American Puma Team members . Ask if he is disappointed Nike Athletes have not joined .
I have a feeling this post will get deleted .
